Brief Job Description:
You will be responsible for managing all aspects of awarding new business, building strong supplier relationships, and working closely with internal stakeholders. You will support the Senior Global Commodity Manager in achieving cost goals and oversee the entire sourcing process, from strategy development to execution, including eSourcing activities, contract negotiations, and supplier management.

- Develop and implement sourcing strategies by analyzing suppliers and market conditions.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and create a sourcing plan.
- Lead contract negotiations on NDAs, terms, and supply agreements.
- Manage supplier relationships using key performance metrics (KPIs).
- Influence supplier processes to ensure mutual benefits and sustainability.
- Collaborate with Program Management to meet procurement goals and track progress.
- Conduct eSourcing events, including eAuctions, using industry-standard tools.
- Execute eRFPs and eRFQs, and select vendors based on cost, quality, and delivery.
- Lead meetings, set agendas, capture notes, and coordinate follow-up actions.
- Work with business, engineering, legal, finance, HR, and supply chain teams on contract negotiations.
- Ensure contracts are favorable through collaboration with the legal team.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of purchasing documents.
- Maintain vendor records and pricing histories.
- Resolve procurement issues promptly.
Qualifications:
Required/ Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and customer service abilities.
- Proficient in eSourcing and procurement procedures.
- Experience with Microsoft Office or similar software.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Minimum two years of purchasing experience.
