Position Summary: 

The Sr. Analyst for Sales Operations & Continuous Improvement is responsible for driving operational efficiency, enhancing customer experience, and enabling data-driven decision-making across Customer Service and Sales Operations. The role focuses on workflow optimization, process mapping, automation, and building AI-powered insights to support operational performance. This role leverages advanced analytics, low-code automation, and generative AI tools to streamline order management and service workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and build scalable digital solutions.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Partner and consult with functional managers and their leadership teams to shape functional strategy, develop plans, and execute performance improvement initiatives. 
  • Map and analyze existing workflows using tools like flowcharts, SIPOC, or value stream mapping
  • Develop the capabilities of the continuous improvement team and lead the continuous improvement of Vertiv Operating standards, processes, and methods. 
  • Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, or compliance risks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement changes that reduce cost, improve quality, or enhance speed.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation (SOPs, work instructions, RACI charts).
  • Ensure all process changes are clearly communicated and adopted across teams.
  • Partner with business leaders to become the trusted advisor for performance improvement.
  • Lead continuous/process improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with business users and leadership to define KPIs and reporting needs.
  • Translate business requirements into data models and dashboards.
  • Develop and maintain advanced dashboards and analytics models in Power BI, Tableau or Looker.
  • Perform trend analysis and create visual summaries to support decision-making.
  • Monitor KPIs and provide insights to improve operational performance.
  • Streamline data collection and reporting processes through automation or the use of APIs.
  • Leverage the use of AI tools and automation platforms to reduce manual effort and errors.
  • Automation & AI-Driven Optimization: Build automation solutions using Power Automate, AppSheet, Python, or other tools; implement AI-assisted process improvements.
  • Identify and recommend AI adoption opportunities across operation.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions on process improvement and analytics tools
  • Support Internal and external, ensuring documentation and process compliance.
  • Develop training materials using generative AI and conduct workshops to support adoption of new tools, processes, and dashboards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in sales operations, analytics, or process improvement.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data visualization.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with automation platforms such as Power Automate, AppSheet, Python scripting, or RPA tools.
  • Experience with CRM systems and data platforms.
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma practitioner is a plus.
  • Google Appsheet experience is a plus.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in customer service, sales operations, IT or manufacturing industry. 
  • Ability to lead and to develop continuous improvement strategies, influence decision making, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the plant operations and functions. 
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in the application of Lean/Six Sigma methods and way of thinking.
  • Hands-on experience or certification in low-code/no-code app development (AppSheet, PowerApps).
  • Strong organizational, project management, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in the local language and English. 
  • Strong analytical skills, including the use of root cause analysis and other tools and methods typically deployed to drive operational improvements. 
  • Ability to influence and lead in a matrix organization to drive accountably and execution of continuous improvement mindset and activities .
