We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to own and advance the security posture of NVIDIA's critical infrastructure, products, and services. NVIDIA is the leading artificial intelligence computing company, powering innovations in self-driving cars, machine learning, supercomputing, gaming, and visualization. Our security team ensures that internal services, developer workflows, and customer-facing systems remain secure, compliant, and resilient. We need a security specialist who combines deep technical expertise with strong analytical and collaborative skills to tackle complex security challenges at scale. Do you have the drive to protect pioneering technology and the capacity to build security across the organization? Join us and help shape how we build and operate secure systems.

What you will be doing:

  • Apply systematic assessment and solution development to identify, assess, and remediate security risks across infrastructure, applications, and networks

  • Design and implement security controls, automation, and processes that improve our security posture and support compliance

  • Lead and participate in security initiatives including threat modeling, vulnerability management, zero-day response, and security architecture reviews

  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to embed security into development lifecycles and streamline security processes

  • Communicate clearly with leadership, peers, and partners through reports, metrics, and presentations; provide technical support for high-urgency security incidents within SLA

  • Stay current on threats, tools, and guidelines in networks and cybersecurity; bring creative and innovative strategies to hardening our environment

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience), with 12+ years of relevant security engineering experience

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with experience tackling sophisticated security problems in large-scale or distributed environments

  • AI literacy and interest in securing AI systems, tooling, or data pipelines; experience with AI security or ML security practices

  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences and to document processes and findings

  • Demonstrated experience in information security: secure system design, identity and access management, network security (e.g., TLS, segmentation), and secure development practices

  • Hands-on technical skills: scripting or programming, familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), containers (Docker, Kubernetes, Kata), virtual machines, and security tooling

  • Proven teamwork and collaboration; ability to work with multi-functional teams and manage partner expectations while driving security outcomes

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Process optimization: experience improving security workflows, metrics, and operational efficiency; familiarity with Agile/DevSecOps and tools such as JIRA

  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills; comfort presenting to leadership or external partners and representing security in design and incident discussions

  • Curiosity and lifelong learning: track record of continuous learning in security (e.g., certifications, research, or open-source contributions) and applying new knowledge to real-world problems

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), security compliance frameworks, and risk assessment methodologies
