NVIDIA’s Silicon Co‑Design Group is seeking an AI/LLM Engineer to innovate, develop, and integrate sophisticated artificial intelligence solutions into our design and automation infrastructure. In this role, you will architect and implement solutions that enhance the efficiency, scalability, and intelligence of our workflows. What you'll be doing:
Designing and implementing AI/LLM-powered systems to improve automation, design verification, and workflow efficiency, specifically tailored to semiconductor design.
Collaborating with multi-functional engineering teams to find opportunities for AI integration and performance optimization.
Evaluating new frameworks, architectures, and tools to improve efficiencies powered by artificial intelligence across the organization.
Tracking and measuring AI impact through data‑driven metrics to continuously refine solutions.
What we need to see:
M.S. or Ph.D. or equivalent experience in CS/EE/CE or related field with 7+ years of development experience, with at least 4 years focused on AI/ML, LLMs, or generative AI and/or 7+ years training and deploying ML models in production.
Strong proficiency in Python and at least one static language (C, C++, C#, Java, Scala, etc).
Expertise in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow) as well as agentic frameworks (NAT, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI, LangSmith, n8n, etc).
Experience with building and deploying orchestration agents capable of managing hundreds to thousands of tools.
Ability to balance multiple simultaneous projects.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience with EDA, semiconductor workflows, or design automation systems.
Publications or open-source contributions demonstrating deep expertise in LLMs or AI infrastructure.
Familiarity with modern AI technologies and methodologies for building and deploying LLMs.
Proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams to deploy large scale products and features.
Ability to translate innovative AI research into practical, high-impact production tools.
