As part of the SoftBank Group, Graphcore is a member of an elite family of companies responsible for some of the world’s most transformative technologies. We are opening a new AI Engineering Campus in Austin, which will play a central role in Graphcore's work building the future of AI computing.  

Whatyou could be doing as a Program Planning and Operations Intern? 

You’ll work with program managers and engineering leads to organize and track activities across design, construction, and deployment phases. You may: 

  • Build and maintain integrated project schedules using Smartsheet and other tools. 
  • Support milestone tracking, risk reviews, and weekly program reporting. 
  • Assist in coordinating lab readiness plans, equipment delivery timelines, and vendor dependencies. 
  • Analyze operational data and propose process improvements for scheduling or execution. 
  • This internship gives you hands-on exposure to the operations behind large-scale engineering programs, from planning through delivery. 

We are looking for individuals who: 

Are currently enrolled and studying towards a Project Management, Business Operations, Industrial Engineering Degree (Bachelors, Masters or PhD students welcome). Candidates with alternative degrees will also be considered if they have relevant experience. 

Qualities that will help your application stand out: 

  • Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Are comfortable working with data and schedules in Excel or Smartsheet. 
  • Enjoy collaboration, problem-solving, and fast-moving environments. 
  • Foundational knowledge of IT systems, servers, or datacenter infrastructure. 
  • Understanding of hardware or software deployment lifecycles. 
  • Interest or coursework in networking, systems administration, or hardware integration. 
  • Ability to communicate with technical teams about infrastructure readiness, hardware installs, or operational dependencies
