About the role:

Crusoe.ai looking for an ambitious, recent, or upcoming college graduate to join our Sales Development team as a Sales Development Intern. This role is designed as a career launchpad, offering a deep dive into the mechanics of high-growth Go-To-Market (GTM) team in the AI Cloud space. You will work directly with our Sales Leadership and SDR team to learn sales fundamentals, how to leverage a modern sales technology stack, and execute special projects that directly improve our GTM operations.

What You’ll Learn & Do:

Sales Fundamentals & Strategy

  • The Art of Outreach: Learn how to research, identify, and engage high-potential leads within the AI/ML, Robotics, and Scientific Research industries.

  • Master the Message: Work with Sr SDRs, Account Executive, and Sales Leadership to understand the Crusoe value proposition and how to craft compelling, personalized messaging that resonates with our target market..

  • Pipeline Management: Learn the mechanics of the sales funnel—from initial lead identification to qualifying opportunities and booking meetings.

Sales Technology Mastery

  • The Modern Stack: Gain hands-on experience and proficiency in a world-class sales stack, including Salesforce, Apollo, Lemlist, Sumble, and Trellus.

  • AI-Augmented Sales: Learn to leverage the latest AI models (Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, ChatGPT) to optimize your research and outreach workflows, staying at the forefront of "AI for Sales."

Special Operations & Strategy Projects

  • Process Improvement: You will be assigned specific projects aimed at improving team efficiency. This might include optimizing lead identification methods, pipeline reporting and analysis automations, creating agentic sales workflows that reduce operational or administrative workloads for sellers, or performing data hygiene in our CRM.

  • Sales Play Construction: Conduct deep research into current targeting and messaging performance, form a POV on new outreach opportunities the team could be doing, and put them to the test. You will be a scientist in our outbound lab.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, Economics, Psychology, Analytics, Communication, or a related field graduating between Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; confident interacting with prospects and various internal departments.

  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills; comfortable working with data to draw conclusions.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.

  • Proficiency with common documentation tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Confluence, or similar).

Bonus points:

  • Entrepreneurial background.

  • Prior experience in sales or other highly competitive business / academic / athletic or similar environments.

  • Long-term interest in becoming an account executive / sales leader in the technology space.

  • Familiarity with using sales tools for outreach (Linkedin, Outreach / Salesloft/ Apollo / Zoominfo etc)

This is a 12-week in-person program based in our San Francisco offices. Applicants must be available to participate in the internship program during one of the designated date ranges:

May 18, 2026 - August 7, 2026

June 1, 2026 - August 21, 2026

June 15, 2026- September 4, 2026
