What You’ll Do

Description of the Team

The Global Business Services (GBS) Accounting team at CoreWeave is responsible for delivering standardized, scalable, and compliant accounting operations across the company’s global footprint. The team partners closely with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, People, and Sales Operations to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient service delivery. As part of GBS, the Accounting organization plays a critical role in supporting CoreWeave’s rapid growth and public-company readiness.

About the Role

The Senior Manager, GBS Accounting will lead and scale critical accounting operations within CoreWeave’s Global Business Services organization. This role is responsible for overseeing payroll accounting, commissions accounting, and core accounting processing performed by the GBS team. You will partner closely with Corporate Accounting leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, SOX-compliant controls, and continuous process improvement across Record-to-Report (R2R) activities. This is a highly visible leadership role combining people management, operational excellence, and transformation as CoreWeave scales globally.

Who You Are

(Technical and measurable requirements)

  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including operational or shared services leadership
  • 3+ years of people management experience, including managing managers or global teams
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing payroll accounting and incentive compensation accruals, including bonus accrual calculations, reviews, reconciliations, and close-related journal entries, in partnership with People Operations and FP&A
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing commissions accounting, including calculations, accruals, and coordination with Sales Operations
  • Proven experience managing offshore or nearshore accounting teams, preferably in Costa Rica or similar shared services environments
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes
  • Hands-on experience operating in a SOX 404–compliant, publicly traded company environment
  • Proven ability to support month-end and quarter-end close, including review of journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Workday, or similar)

Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large, complex data sets

Preferred

  • CPA or equivalent accounting certification
  • Experience in a Global Business Services or Shared Services operating model
  • Experience supporting high-growth technology, cloud, or infrastructure companies
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with People Operations, Sales Operations, and FP&A
  • Exposure to accounting automation, workflow tools, or process transformation initiatives
  • Experience supporting M&A integrations or scaling accounting operations globally

The base salary range for this role is $135,000 to $198,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).

Our Workplace

While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration.
