What You’ll Do

Data Center Finance Team
You’ll join CoreWeave’s Data Center Finance team, a group responsible for financial planning, forecasting, and analytics that support the rapid scaling of our global data center footprint. The team partners closely with operations, capacity planning, power, sustainability, and executive leadership to drive informed decision-making across one of the most critical parts of the business.

About the role:

We are seeking a high-performing, self-sufficient Senior Financial Analyst to join our Data Center Finance team. The Senior Financial Analyst will support the Data Center Finance Lead, Head of FP&A, and other stakeholders to support, analyze, and improve the core operational models and metrics used to drive the rapid scaling of the business. This person will work cross-functionally with a variety of stakeholders at all levels of CoreWeave and have frequent opportunities to interact with and support key executive level decision makers. Optimally, this person will have previous experience with building large, complex operational models, skills in data organization and automation, exceptional abilities in complex financial modeling, and a strong understanding of economic analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Center OpEx Planning & Forecasting: Own end-to-end financial planning processes for data center expenses related to leases, power, equipment financing, and general operating expenses.
  • Data Center Power Planning & Forecasting: Build and maintain various forecasts related to our global power footprint including power deployment timing and alignment with capacity planning timelines.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual budget reviews and variance analyses. Provide actionable insights to senior leadership through dashboards and reporting. Support long-range planning and scenario modeling for strategic investment decisions.
  • Financial Reporting: Analyze and present financial reports to senior management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with operations, capacity planning, and power and sustainability teams to develop and implement strategies that support business objectives and enhance financial performance.
  • Cost Optimization:  Partner with various teams to optimize expenses related to recurring data center expenses
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including data center operations, capacity planning, and sales, to support overall business goals.

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, asset management or similar roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or CPA/CMA is a plus
  • Strong financial modeling skills; advanced Excel required, familiarity with tools like NetSuite, or Tableau a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in an extremely fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • High level of self-sufficiency with proven success at self-teaching and a high intellectual motor
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Deep understanding of data center finance topics including energy market dynamics, leasing structures, and cost optimization strategies is preferred but not required

The base salary range for this role is $115,000 - $168,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).

Our Workplace

While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration.
