About the Role
CoreWeave is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Manager to join our Hardware Compute organization in Warsaw, Poland. This role will report to the Director of Compute Architecture and will lead hiring and people management across multiple hardware-adjacent domains, including Hardware Engineering (METAL), Hardware Engineering Dev (METALDEV), and Hardware Engineering Networking (METALNET).
This manager will be responsible first and foremost for building and staffing a multi-disciplinary team in Warsaw that supports CoreWeave’s hardware cloud at scale. The team will span server hardware lifecycle management, hardware and firmware automation, and high-bandwidth GPU interconnect platforms such as NVLink and NVSwitch.
This is a highly cross-functional leadership role with a strong emphasis on organizational growth and team development. You will be responsible for building and scaling the Warsaw engineering organization, including hiring, coaching, team development, execution management, and fostering a strong local engineering culture. Success in this role requires close collaboration with North American engineering leaders to ensure alignment across teams and delivery against organizational priorities.
What You’ll Do
- Build and staff a high-performing Warsaw-based team across METAL, METALDEV, and METALNET.
- Create and execute a hiring plan that supports rapid growth across multiple technical domains and levels.
- Partner closely with recruiting to attract, evaluate, close, and retain strong technical talent.
- Onboard new hires effectively and create the structure, clarity, and support they need to ramp quickly.
- Manage day-to-day workloads, sprint planning, prioritization, and longer-term project execution across multiple technical domains.
- Partner closely with North American engineering leaders to align Warsaw-based teams with technical roadmaps and organizational priorities, driving execution through clear planning, prioritization, and delivery of key outcomes.
- Coach engineers and emerging leaders through regular feedback, one-on-ones, performance management, and career development conversations.
- Foster a strong engineering culture centered on ownership, collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence.
- Identify gaps in staffing, skill coverage, process, and team structure, and proactively drive improvements.
- Support engineers working on server hardware infrastructure, hardware and firmware management services, automation systems, and GPU interconnect platforms.
- Partner closely with teams across engineering, operations, support, supply chain, and data center functions to align priorities, resolve blockers, and deliver results across organizational boundaries.
- Communicate status, trade-offs, risks, and organizational needs clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
