Braintrust is the AI evals and observability platform used by leading AI teams to test, monitor, and improve their applications. We’re looking for a DevRel Engineer to help grow, activate, and inspire our developer community.

As a DevRel Engineer, you’ll be the public voice of Braintrust for developers—creating content, engaging with the community, and bringing insights back to our product and engineering teams. You’ll help define how builders learn about evals, adopt Braintrust, and push the frontier of agentic AI.

What you’ll do

  • Community Voice → Engage with developers on Discord, GitHub, and Twitter/X. Answer questions, capture feedback, and share insights internally.

  • Content Creation → Produce high-quality tutorials, guides, screencasts, livestreams, sample apps, and demos that showcase Braintrust.

  • Attend & Speak → Represent Braintrust at conferences, hackathons, AMAs, and meetups through speaking, mentoring, and evangelizing.

  • Community Events Program → Partner with the Events team to design programs that grow and activate our developer community.

What we’re looking for

  • Hands-on familiarity with generative AI: agents, evals, and prompt engineering.

  • A strong technical foundation in software development, ML, or applied AI—comfortable building code samples, demos, or lightweight apps.

  • Experience producing technical content for developers, such as courses, workshops, onboarding guides, or tutorials.

  • Skilled communicator with a clear, engaging style across writing, video, and live presentations.

  • Comfortable speaking at meetups, conferences, or live-streaming to technical audiences.

  • Curiosity, high-agency, and a genuine passion for serving and enabling developer communities.

Why join Braintrust

  • Define the voice of Braintrust in the developer ecosystem.

  • Shape how developers understand and adopt evals—a category-defining shift in AI development.

  • Be part of a high-velocity team that values shipping, community, and developer love.

Benefits include

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • Daily lunch, snacks, and beverages

  • Flexible time off

  • Competitive salary and equity

  • AI Stipend
