About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
As a Senior RevOps Reporting & Insights Analyst at Anthropic, you will own the analytical foundation that drives decision-making across our Go-To-Market (GTM) organization. In this role, you'll independently scope and lead the design, build, and maintenance of dashboards and reporting frameworks that enable our business growth, while proactively identifying data discrepancies, surfacing actionable insights, and translating complex analysis into clear recommendations for leadership. You'll leverage cutting-edge AI technologies to augment your analyses, uncover deeper insights, and accelerate data-driven decision making. Working closely with cross-functional partners and senior leadership, you'll drive scalable processes and lead standardization across GTM approaches.
Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve foundational dashboards that provide real-time visibility into key GTM metrics including pipeline health, conversion rates, sales velocity, and regional performance against targets. Proactively identify when metrics deviate from expectations and surface root cause analysis without being asked
- Lead investigation and resolution of data discrepancies across systems (Salesforce, Looker, etc.), ensuring data integrity and accuracy in all reporting, and designing processes to prevent recurrence
- Independently analyze revenue performance trends across regions, segments, and time periods to identify patterns, anomalies, and growth opportunities. Deliver insights with clear, specific recommendations that leadership can act on immediately
- Scope and lead deep-dive analyses to answer critical business questions such as "Why did pipeline conversion drop?" or "Which channels drive highest-value customers?" Form testable hypotheses, validate with data, and present findings with a clear narrative and recommended actions
- Design and maintain stakeholder-specific dashboards for sales leadership, partnership teams, and customer success, considering audience needs, information hierarchy, and self-service usability across different user personas
- Validate and troubleshoot metric calculations, working closely with Analytics Engineering to trace data lineage and resolve inconsistencies
- Lead the generation of comprehensive business review materials combining automated dashboard insights with custom analyses for weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reviews, including synthesizing trends across periods and flagging risks proactively
- Drive competitive intelligence analysis combining internal performance data with external market research to assess positioning, pricing effectiveness, and expansion opportunities
- Design and implement early warning systems with leading and lagging indicators of revenue health, enabling proactive alerts when metrics deviate from expected performance ranges
- Independently scope and deliver ad-hoc analytical dashboards to support strategic initiatives like pricing optimization, territory restructuring, or market entry analysis, managing stakeholder expectations and timelines autonomously
- Present insights directly to senior leadership through dashboard demonstrations and written analyses. Transform complex data into clear narratives that drive decisions, and adapt communication style for different audiences from IC to VP level
You may be a good fit if you:
- Have 4-6+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or similar analytical roles with demonstrated ability to independently lead analyses from problem framing through recommendation delivery
- Strong experience with GTM reporting tools and systems (e.g., Salesforce, Looker/LookML, BigQuery, Snowflake), including hands-on experience building and maintaining data models, not just consuming dashboards
- Can independently analyze data, form hypotheses, validate assumptions, and provide specific, actionable recommendations to improve and scale the business, not just surface observations
- Are passionate about integrating and using AI to uncover new insights and work more efficiently
- Have a track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and building trusted relationships across stakeholder groups, with the judgment to prioritize competing requests and push back when appropriate
- Can adapt revenue frameworks to non-traditional business models and market cycles
- Thrive in unstructured environments and love bringing order to chaos, and can demonstrate examples of building reporting infrastructure from the ground up
- Advanced SQL skills and experience manipulating large datasets. Comfortable writing complex queries, building derived tables, and debugging data pipelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Can synthesize complex analysis into clear executive summaries and defend recommendations under questioning from senior stakeholders
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior analysts is a plus
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Logistics
Education requirements: We require at least a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
